Labor Day Weekend

We hope everyone had a fun and relaxing Labor Day weekend. We relaxed at home most of the weekend, watched some college football and today went over to Steph and Dan's to help celebrate Dylan's 9th birthday. Katelyn loved being part of the big day and loved being with the older kids. They had a nice cookout and then we swam. Katelyn LOVED the pool! Below are some pictures from the party today and also from our college football Saturday.

We gave Dylan this pirate ship pool float for his birthday, which was a hit with all the kids... even the really big kids :)

Katelyn loves Dylan and Drew

Telling everyone what she thought

This little boat was sent to Katelyn by Aunt Petie and Uncle Dave.. she LOVED it!

Playing with the waterfall in the pool

Aunt Steph got out the high chair her boys used for Katelyn. It was very sweet. Thank you Aunt Steph :)

All tired out! After a big day the little munchkin needed a nap. We didn't have a crib over there so we made a pallet for her on the floor. She slept here two hours!
More random pictures from our weekend. Katelyn was dressed to support our USF Bulls who had their first game of the season on Saturday. She didn't actually watch the game but she wore her Bulls dress and socks all day proudly for her momma's alma mater :)

Sporting her Bulls dress... it actually came with a long sleeve turtle neck onesie... uhh, I don't think so in 90 degree Florida heat.. so we just made do without it.

Happy Baby!

Katelyn and Meg

Well, Katelyn is officially mobile and has been for a couple of weeks. We have been baby proofing and Meg has now realized that she is no longer "safe." I caught her hiding under the dining room table earlier this evening. Actually, Meg does go over and lay right next to Katelyn, just asking for her attention :) Katelyn thinks it's great! We are working on teaching Katelyn how to be gentle with the dog and every once in awhile we will see her just gently pat Meg. You just wonder what goes on in her little head :) We honestly could not have asked for a better and more well behaved dog than Meg. She is so tolerant and seems to have really taken to "her baby." We couldn't help but take the pictures below one day when Meg decided to lay on her bed next to Katelyn's play area. Too cute...

Katelyn truly loves Meg... she can't get enough of her :)

Meg's about to fall asleep... didn't care in the least

Oh did I forget to mention she's also pulling up on EVERYTHING!
